摘要

本文選擇臺灣諺語中與海洋主題相關者，進行分類，並就各類內容描述合拼出濱海地方生活的特色，探討其所代表的意義，分為濱海生涯的特殊規劃、性別與身體的自然流露、海洋生活感知的轉譯，說明諺語如何成為地方文化遺產的傳承載具，它又如何成為特定區域裡人們互相溝通的基礎，形成小社會的生活形態。

Inhabitants of Taiwan's coastal areas have developed a unique lifestyle communicated from one generation to the next orally rather than through written texts. An especially honored aspect of this oral heritage is the use of proverbs. This paper focuses on the place of proverbs in local residents' descriptions of everyday life as well as their use of the oral tradition in more general communications with each other.
