翻譯之外：論宮崎繁吉《支那戲曲小說文鈔釋》所收《紅樓夢》譯本之多重詮釋

摘要

宮崎繁吉的《支那戲曲小說文鈔釋》成書於明治三十八年（1905），當中選錄並節譯《水滸傳》、《西廂記》、《桃花扇》、《紅樓夢》等四種中國小說與戲曲，其中《紅樓夢》則以第六回「劉姥姥一進榮國府」的內容為翻譯對象。此書乃《紅樓夢》早期的日譯本之一、且為宮崎繁吉於早稻田大學任教時的教學內容所集結之講義錄。翻譯形式上採逐段之和漢對照、並完整標示漢文訓點與文句解釋，以便於閱讀者與研究者進行參照理解。因此在文學翻譯與教學上有其重要性。本論文以宮崎繁吉在《支那戲曲小說文鈔釋》所收之《紅樓夢》翻譯為研究對象。由於《支那戲曲小說文鈔釋》並不只收錄譯文，而是兼備宮崎繁吉對於小說作者、版本、流變、文藝美學等研究研究成果，因此本論文先分析宮崎繁吉的《紅樓夢》研究成果，再進行譯文分析，觀察其翻譯特性，最後則是從《支那戲曲小說文鈔釋》的整體選文情形，重估宮崎繁吉選擇「劉姥姥一進榮國府」為翻譯對象的理由，以此逐步評析宮崎繁吉在《紅樓夢》研究、翻譯與教學上的成果。經由本論文的研究可知，宮崎繁吉採取「一人一主題」為選文標準，且強調選文在整部作品中的伏筆作用，經由單一事件貫穿小說整體發展，有引起外國讀者的閱讀興趣之效，以此兼顧文學研究、教學與推廣的功能，使中國小說與戲曲得以從其著作中在日本獲得關注。

Miyazaki Shigekichi's ＂Shina Gikyoku Shosetsubun Shoshaku＂ was published in 1905. This book is among which 4 Chinese traditional dramas novels such as ＂Water Margin＂, ＂Romance of the Western Chamber＂, ＂The Peach Blossom Fan＂ and ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂ were selected and translated. In this book was chosen 'Granny Liu First Time Visited Rong Mantion' of the ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂, and translated it. ＂Shina Gikyoku Shosetsubun Shoshaku＂ is one of the early Japanese translations of ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂ and is a collection of lectures for the teaching content of Miyazaki Shigekichi's teaching at Waseda University. The translation form is based on the comparison of the Japanese and the Chinese, and used Kanbun Kundoku to translated all of the literary works in this book, in this way, that book is easier to understand for the readers and the researchers Therefore, it has its importance in literary translation and teaching. This thesis is a study of translated into the study of ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂ in Miyazaki Shigekichi's ＂Shina Gikyoku Shosetsubun Shoshaku＂. Because this book has not only included translations, but also the results of Miyazaki Shigekichi's research on the author, version, theology, literary aesthetics, etc. of Chinese traditional dramas and novels. This thesis first analyzes is Miyazaki Shigekichi's research results of ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂. The second step is analysis of his translation and feature of translation. Finally, from the overall selection of ＂Shina Gikyoku Shosetsubun Shoshaku＂ to analysis the reason why Miyazaki Shigekichi was chosen 'Granny Liu First Time Visited Rong Mantion' as the target of translation In order to gradually evaluate the results of Miyazaki Shigekichi's research, translation and teaching in ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂. According to the research of this thesis, Miyazaki Shigekichi has adopted the ＂one person and one theme＂ as the selection criterion, and emphasizes the role of the selected text in the whole work. Through the single event, the whole development of the novel runs through, which has the effect of reading interest of foreign readers. In order to take into account the functions of literary research, teaching and promotion, Chinese traditional novels and dramas have gained attention in Japan from their works.
