This study is aimed to analysis the real conversation between those Japanese native speaker and Japanese learners, and clarifies in the scenery of a long distance meeting, in order to solve communication barriers, what ”adjustment actions” Japanese native speakers or Japanese learners will take. Furthermore, to realize the result of those ”adjustment actions” being taken, not only focusing on the adjustment in forms of communication but also in its contents. The conclusion reveals that, for those Japanese learners, even though their Japanese is not as good as Japanese Native speakers, however when the conversation topic draws their attention, they will not stay inactive as they used to be and even raise questions actively. If there is any insufficient in expression, other participants will jump in and help. In short, the role of Japanese native speakers and Japanese learners are not always constant. In other words, in the past we label them as ”active” or ”inactive” will be revised, especially when the conversation topics puts more emphasize on speaker's own mind set and content being expressed, this situation creates a more equal and meaningful conversation.
