宮沢賢治「旅程幻想」の生成－水産物と石材を巡る思索の軌跡－

1925年1月5日から9日まで宮沢賢治は三陸地方を旅行した。「旅程幻想」はその体験を元にした詩の一つである。その後、改稿を繰り返しながら舞台を含めた虚構化が行われるのであるが、なぜ賢治はそうした作業を行ったのか。そもそもなぜ三陸地方を旅行したのか。本稿では「旅程幻想」の背後に存在する賢治の伝記的事象について考察した。考察の結果明らかとなったのは、旅行は農学校教師を辞めた後の企画のための調査が目的であり、後の改稿は東北砕石工場技師就任を決断する際の思索の手段であったことである。また本稿では、技師就任後の賢治と壁材との関わりについての具体的な検討も行っている。

Later, he created a poem based on the journey, titled "Fantasizing the Trip." Miyazawa revised the poem repeatedly, even making up the setting and other elements. To understand why Miyazawa made those decisions and what drove him to Sanriku in the first place, a study was conducted to explore the poem, particularly elements that reflect the poet's experience. The study found out that Miyazawa traveled to Sanriku for an investigation, which would serve as the foundation for his plan after retiring from the Agricultural School. The study also found out that Miyazaki constantly revised the poem to help clear his thoughts as he tried to decide whether to become a mechanic at a stone crusher plant in northeastern Japan.
