摘要

一、臺灣原住民的抗日行動屬於日本侵臺統治後期，一般為史家所忽視，然而原住民的抗日精神卻是可歌可泣。二、日本接收臺灣，原以為會和平進行，不料卻發生1895年義民抗日以及爾後發生霧社事件，使得日本付出慘痛代價。尤其後者是在日本統治臺灣36年之後，仍然發生抗日事件，無疑對日本總督府治臺是一大打擊。三、莫那魯道所發動的抗日行動，是抱著犧牲精神對異族統治所採取的反抗戰鬥，明知不可為而為之；其壯烈成仁行動，為原住民抗日史寫下悲壯的史頁。四、原住民抗日行動雖然失敗，但是在戰爭史上，仍可給我們留下一些啟示：生命共同體的建立、侵略戰爭的注定失敗、游擊作戰的作為、以及奮戰與成仁的決心，這些都可做為戰史之借鏡。

The destined failure of aggression war is associated with the actions of guerrilla and the determination of brave fighting.
