武德內涵之歷史脈絡與再詮釋

摘要

一直以來，智、信、仁、勇、嚴被視為軍人武德的標準內涵，但是否符合現代軍事專業倫理的需求，仍有探索空間！本文在此問題意識下進行探討，採用文獻分析的方式，探索「智、信、仁、勇、嚴」產生的歷史背景及社會文化意義。研究者分析發現，蔣介石武德的觀點係延續孫中山「智、仁、勇」的軍人精神教育，然而蔣介石用儒家的修身觀詮釋兵家的智信仁勇嚴，是歷史發展當中兵學儒家化的具體反映。然而就其內涵而言，國軍軍人讀訓似乎比抽象的智信仁勇嚴更容易讓人理解與實踐，亦能體現蔣介石對武德的詮釋。

Wisdom, faith, kindness, courage, and strictness have always been the ethics of military. But they really meet the needs of modern military ethics remain to be explored. This study is based on this issue and uses the methods of literature review to explore their history background and the meaning of social culture. According to the study, the researcher has found that Chiang Kai-Shek's view points followed Sun Yat-Sen's. However, the ten guidelines of military are easier to be understood and put into practice than wisdom, faith, kindness, courage, and strictness in terms of intension.
