Appraisal of the Orientation of the PRC's Future Naval Strategy by Zheng He's Peaceful Sea Power

Most recent studies of the PRC naval strategy and navy's force development pay attentions on the assessment of American sea power development. By the lesson learned from Zheng He's expedition voyages, the peaceful sea power, this article intends to discuss the development of the PRC naval strategy development. By studying the cause of Zheng He's voyages, the change of the PRC naval strategy development is examined in the paper, which includes the relevance between the PRC naval strategic expansion and sea power peace. The analysis and forecast of PRC's naval strategy development in the future may be explored.
