China had been wary of the Soviet Union after founding its regime. This mindset later dictated the ups and downs of Sino-Soviet relations. Following the collapse of the Soviet Unions and the end of the Cold War, China and Russia have been continuously strengthening the ties, which gradually become stable and warm due to mutual interests. In recent years, China and Russia have been putting a lot of endeavors in increasing cooperation in various areas, including energy, international politics, and even military, etc. Both sides agreed that the Year 2019 is the best year for the Sino-Russian relations in seven decades. This idea labels China and Russia as the two biggest threats and challenges for U.S. national security, and, no doubt, serves as the excellent momentum for China-Russia closer relations.
