摘要

我國海軍康定級巡防艦升級案獲得法國同意協助時，引發中共強烈抗議。法國通過本次軍售的背景，心理上體現了「戴高樂主義」的務實性；在物質上包含法國與中共的貿易衝突及對非洲影響力之爭。軍售案除提升我國海軍戰力外，同樣購自法國的「幻象2000」戰機亦可能循此模式升級。本次軍售，究竟只是偶發性的單一事件，抑或往後可能持續辦理，關乎法國與兩岸各自的雙邊關係及兩岸相互間軍事平衡。

The upgrade of the ROC Navy fleet, ＂Kangding-class＂ patrol ship, will be assisted by France, which triggered a strong protest from the CCP. Under the background of this arms sale, psychologically, France seems to embody the pragmatism of ＂Gaullism,＂ but physically it could be due to the trade conflict between France and the CCP, the competition of African influence. In addition to enhancing the naval combat capability of the Navy, the＂ Mirage 2000＂ fighter jet in ROC Air Force, purchased from France long ago, may also be upgraded by following this model. Whether this arms sale is only an occasional single event, or it may continue to be handled in the future. The answer to such questions is related to the bilateral relations between Paris/Taipei/Beijing and the Cross-Strait military balance.
