In this experiment, peel of citrus and pineapple were selected and extracted by our in-vented equipment to formulate natural detergents. By using Sebumeter to detect the remaining oil contents and expressed the natural detergent with 22μg/cm^2 which is better than control detergent samples. For antimicrobial test, the natural detergent showed staphylococcus aureus's bacteriostatic value 5.8, antiseptic value 3.0; klebsiella pneumoniae's bacteriostatic value 6.0, antiseptic value 3.0 and Escherichia coli's bacteriostatic value 6.1, antiseptic value 3.0. Acetic acid and limonene derivatives were the major components analyzed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. In conclusion, this natural detergent reveals oil repelling and antimicrobial properties.
