清末民初通俗小說之倫理表現：以吳趼人與周瘦鵑的作品為探討對象
Research on Ethical Caring of the Popular Novelists in Late Qing and Early Republican China: An Observation on Creations of Wu Jian-Ren and Zhou Shou-Juan
摘要
吳趼人（1866-1910）與周瘦鵑（1895-1968）是清末民初時期通俗小說界的重要作家。研究兩者作品之相關成果固然豐碩，然將他們共置於同一脈絡下，並對比參照二人作品之呈現，藉以考察清末民初通俗小說的創作共相，卻是較少的嘗試。因此，本文著眼於倫理表現之闡釋，探討兩人展現於小說中的社會關懷，並論述其作品深刻的倫理意識內涵，具體呈現國家社會、家庭秩序、個體處境互為聯繫、融合交混的倫理表現。本文論述「愛國意識之倫理表現」、「家庭秩序之倫理表現」、「個體處境之倫理表現」三層作品視角，析論二人作品的共同特質，詮釋二者對於當時時代氛圍與社會關切之折映，說明倫理表現在敘事文本的書寫現象，並嘗試以此說明為清末民初的通俗小說發展，提供一個建構系譜的參考可能。

Wu Jian-Ren(1866-1910) and Zhou Shou-Juan(1895-1968) were famous for popular novels during Late Qing and Early Republican China period in China. There are a lot of researches about their novels, but it hasn't been tried to put both of them under the same context and compare the presentation of their novels, in order to investigate the same phenomenon of creation about popular novels in Late Qing and Early Republican China. Therefore, this research tries to use an analysis viewpoint from ethical caring, analyzing both of their novels about observing social care, elaborating the deep meaning of ethical consciousness from their novels, and tries to construct the development context about ethical viewpoint of their narratives, in order to deepen and refine research essence of novels in Late Qing and Early Republican China. This research tries to use three dimensions: ＂ethical caring of patriotic consciousness＂, ＂ethical caring of family order＂, ＂ethical caring of personal situation＂, analyzing the same specialities between their novels, for the purpose of discussing the reflection of the time environment and social concerns between both of their novels, describe the phenomenon on the ethical point of view in narrative texts, and tries to establish genealogy in the development of popular novels in Late Qing and Early Republican China.
