估算能力測驗之編製-以國小四、六年級為對象

The Assessment of Abiliey of Computational Estimation of Elementary School Student

摘要


本研究的主要目的在於編製─「估算能力測驗」以探討國小學童的估算能力。首先藉由文獻分析,綜合國內國小數學課程之內容,作為研究設計與編制研究工具的參考;其次再選取南投縣(不含山地鄉)八所國小四、六年級學童626名為對象樣本,以自編的「估算能力測驗」進行施測。根據實徵資料分析,本研究獲得以下數點發現:一、國小六年級學童的估算能力優於四年級學童的估算能力。二、性別、城鄉區域並未造成國小學童在估算能力上的顯著差異。三、心算的學習經驗並未提昇國小學童的估算能力,但參加課外補習的學生之估算能力優於未參加課外補習的學生。四、國小四、六年級學童在相關因素測驗上的表現及估算能力之高低與其在校的數學成就存有相關。

The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary school students' 'the ability of computational estimation'.After the survey of related literature and studies, The test 'An Estimation Ability' was designed as the main instrument of this study.The test was administered to 626 fourth and sixth grade students.After the administration, all the data gained was processed and analyzed. The main findings are as follows:1. Sixth graders could estimate much better than fourth graders.2. The computational estimation ability does not differ by sex.3. The experience of learning mental computation do not improve computational estimation achievment.4. The performance on 'An Estimation Ability Test' correlate positively with mathematics achievement.
