專科護理畢業生內外科護理能力分析研究

A Study of Medical-Surgical Nursing Competency for Nursing College Graduates

摘要


本研究目的在探討專科護理畢業生進入職場在內外科單位服務時,醫院對其應具備的護理能力之期待。藉此瞭解內外科護理學課室教學與臨床實務之間是否有落差,以作為課程改革之依據。研究採立意取樣,共有十位臨床內外科護理主管參與本研究,以自訂之訪談指引透過深入訪談與錄音收集資料,將訪談結果做歸類、分析,以瞭解進入該職場領域工作時所需具備之護理能力。研究結果顯示:專科護理畢業生內外科護理能力包括基礎專業知識、一般照護技能、異常或突發事件的處理、溝通與協調能力、管理能力、敬業樂群、自我成長、尊重生命與關懷及壓力調適等九個類組。此結果將可作為內外科護理課室教學內容及方式調整、實習課程規劃、實習目標擬定之依據,以提升臨床護理實務能力。

This study was designed to investigate the basic abilities that nursing college graduates from Cardinal Tien college of Health Care & management should have before working in medical-surgical nursing. Data were collected through indepth interviews with nursing managers who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by content analysis. The results of this study showed that the competencies in medical-surgical nursing required of nursing college graduates comprised nine categories, i.e., basic professional knowledge, general nursing skills, unexpected or emergency events, communication and coordination, management, commitment and teamwork, self development, respecting life and caring, and stress adaptation. The results can serve as a reference for adjusting the content and methods of classroom teaching and the design and goals of practicums in medical-surgical nursing education in order to narrow the gap between learning content and hospital job requirements.
