摘要

目的：由於醫療環境之激烈競爭及市立醫院補助款之短少，醫院之經營及財務管理備感壓力，同時面對臨床檢驗項目的日益增加及確保檢驗品質的要求，臨床檢驗自動化系統已是先進國家普遍運用的技術。方法：從開發檢驗資訊系統(LIS)之平台，透過試劑、衛材、儀器之聯合招標及檢驗人力資源之有效運用等方法，促成了十家院區的檢驗部門的整台，並推動檢驗自動化作業。結果：臨床檢驗作業自動化系統之效益：(l)提昇為民服務的時效；(2)可大量接受院外檢體之轉檢作業；(3)將節餘的人力投入生物科技等研究發展的領域，促進檢驗科技的進步與發展。結論：未來期待服務面能擴大成為全臺北地區之檢驗醫學中心。同時期能與各醫學大學進行建教合作，提昇市立聯台醫院檢驗醫學之研究及教學水準。

Background and Purpose: In recent years, harsh competition and a reduction in government funding has imposed great pressure on both the management and finance of the Taipei City Hospital. In the face of increasing clinical examinations and to ensure their quality, the Automated Clinical Laboratory Information System (LIS) has become a popular system in advanced countries. Methods: The development of the LIS enabled joint use of test-kits, materials and instruments, efficient use of human resources and integration of laboratory departments in 10 separate branch hospitals. Results: The benefits of the LIS are: (1) improvement of public services time management; (2) capability of accepting specimens from other hospitals; (3) switching work content from routine clinical laboratory examinations to biotechnological research, which leads to progress in technology. Conclusion: We anticipate of that we will be able to provide more services and become the center of laboratory examinations for the greater Taipei Area. By cooperative teaching programs and research with medical universities, we also look forward to improvements in the level of research and teaching of laboratory medicine in Taipei City Hospital.
