國小學童體重控制衛生教育之成效

Effectiveness of a Weight Control Education Program for Elementary School Students

摘要


目的:本研究結合衛生與醫療專業人力、物力資源,同時運用衛生教育專業知能,於醫院場域進行學童體重控制之教育介入,希望提升學童的體重控制認知、體重控制行為及體位值。方法:介入課程為每週上課一次,每次2小時,合計共四次。課程內容包括:一、研究對象自我介紹,尋找同儕支持,增加研究對象對課程的認同。二、藉由分享飲食日誌,教導營養相關知識。三、介紹運動的重要性與運動的原則,使研究對象瞭解運動的好處。四、介紹體重控制知識,配合木柵動物園-健康活力行一日遊,使研究對象體驗良好運動習慣。結果:研究對象在介入後對於體重控制之認知、飲食行為方面呈現正向發展,運動行為、體位值方面則無顯著差異。結論:建議未來辦理類似教育活動時,應從提高人際支持、設計密集性的課程,並提升學員學習動機為重點,俾以提升研究對象的學習成效。

Background and Purpose: This research combined public health and medical professionals and material resources, using the health educational professional skills and hospital facilities to proceed with weight control education. The objective of this program was to increase the awareness and the behavior of the weight control. Methods: The 8 hour course, meeting for 4 times for 2 hours each, including following contents: (1) self awareness and becoming part of a supporting group, (2) knowledge teaching about nutrition, (3) knowledge and skill teaching about exercise, (4) knowledge teaching about weight control and a tour to Mu Zha Zoo. Results: The results showed that after attending this class, the class participants had an increased awareness about weight control and positive developments about diet behavior toward weight control. But the exercise behavior toward weight control and the weight of the participants after the intervention did not have the significant differences. Conclusion: The suggestion of further activity is that we should focus on the supporting relationship, designing intensive courses, and improving the motivation of the members during conducting the activities in order to enhance the effect of the learning.
