As the population ages, frailty becomes more prominent. Poor nutritional status is considered a pivotal contributor to frailty. An increasing number of investigations in recent years have evaluated the association between dietary patterns and frailty, such as healthy, Mediterranean, and anti-inflammatory dietary patterns. The high whole grains, vegetables, fruit, low saturated fat meats, and spices in these dietary patterns may be significantly associated with a lower risk of frailty. Early intervention of healthy dietary can effectively prevent and reverse frailty. This review focuses on the correlation between dietary patterns and frailty.
