The Experience of Pharmacy Administration and Preparation in a Regional Teaching Hospital during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has posed unprecedented public health challenges, and healthcare systems across nations are facing difficulties in disease prevention and the provision of sustainable medical services. Pharmacists are important healthcare team members and play a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical care and maintaining medication supply. This article describes the preparation and work of the Sijhih Cathay General Hospital Pharmacy Department responded in staff administration, infection control, medication supply, and pharmaceutical care for employee safety and elevation of pharmacy service quality. Our experiences may also be referenced for the pandemic prevention work of domestic and foreign medical professionals.
