The researcher has compared the contents of two simplified versions of "King Wu Ascended the Throne" in "Zhang-guo Chu Zhu-shu (7)" collected by Shanghai Museum and its handed down version in "Da Dai Liji (a collection of ritual observations)", as well as a discussion carried out among the explanatory texts. In the comparison of the three versions, a relationship between the two simplified versions was found: both were records of King Wu who raised questions to his master: Tai Gong Wang during the period of ascending the throne. However, there's no relationship of heritage between the two versions, only two individual versions. With regard to the relationship between the two simplified versions and the handed down version, the handed down version is written based on the systematic texts of the two simplified versions and, possibly, other related versions were also referred to.
