本試驗以臺農67號(Oryza sativa L. cv. Tainung 67, TNG 67)及Basmati 370 (Oryza sativa L. Basmati 370, B 370)為親本,利用其F2族群作為偵測與米質相關性狀的數量性狀基因座(QTL)。所建構的遺傳連鎖圖譜是以102個簡單重複序列分子標誌所構築,其涵蓋基因組總長為1,938 cM,分子標誌的平均相隔距離為18.8 cM。研究中分析14個與米質相關性狀,共找到11個相關的QTL,分布於6條染色體上,其中包含4個與米粒大小及外型相關的QTL,如 gw1.1、cgw2.1、cgs2.1及wcr6.1分別與米粒寬、飯粒寬、熟米外形和白堊質比率等性狀顯著相關,以及7個與烹調及食用品質相關的QTL,如ei2.1、asv6.1、ac6.1、 gc4.1、 gc6.1、ag8.1及ag12.1分別與延展性指數、鹼擴散度及糊化溫度、直鏈澱粉含量、凝膠延展性和米粒香味等性狀顯著相關。
F2 population derived from a cross between Oryza sativa L. cv Tainung 67 and Basmati 370 was generated to detect quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with grain quality related traits. The genetic linkage map generated from this population consisted of 102 SSR DNA markers, which covered 1938 cM of rice genome with an average distance of 18.8 cM. Using interval mapping approach, a total of eleven QTL were identified and distributed on six chromosomes. In summary, four QTL, i.e., gw1.1, cgw2.1, cgs2.1, and wcr6.1, were associated with grain width, cooked grain width, cooked grain shape, and percentage of grains with chalkiness, and seven QTL, i.e., ei2.1, asv6.1, ac6.1, gc4.1, gc6.1, ag8.1, and ag12.1, were associated with elongation index, alkali spreading value, gelatinization, amylase content, gel consistency, and grain aroma.
