油菊扦插繁殖之研究

Studies on the Cutting Propagation of Indian Dendranthema Flower (Chrysanthemum indicum L.)

摘要


油菊是多年生菊科草本植物,帶有濃郁的香氣,是重要精油作物之一,且是觀賞花卉及健康食品的材料,利用價值性很高。臺灣屬高溫多濕氣候,有利於油菊的栽培生產。本研究目的旨在探討生長劑和栽培介質對油菊插穗發根的影響,以改進插穗的存活率,為油菊栽培繁殖及大量生產提供參考。研究結果顯示,選用頂芽至第3節且經過消毒的油菊插穗,扦插於河砂介質,其發根數最多。以頂芽至第3節且留有2片葉的油菊插穗,其發根數高於留有1片葉的油菊插穗。扦插於河砂介質中的油菊插穗,其發根數顯著高於真珠石和泥炭土的混合物(1:1,v:v)。油菊插穗以500mg L^(-1)的引朵丁酸(IBA)液劑,浸泡1h的發根情形顯著較佳(P≦0.5)。總此結果,油菊插穗選用頂芽至第3節位部分,保留2片葉片並經過消毒及500mg L^(-1)的IBA液劑處理後扦插於河砂的介質中,有較高的發根數。

Chrysanthemum indicum L., an Indian Dendranthema flower (IDF), is a perennial herbal plant in Asteraceae and has strong aroma and abundant volatiles. The IDF is an important crop for essential oil industry; and therefore, it is used for not only an ornamental flower but a plant material for healthy foods. The weather is hot and humid in Taiwan and is beneficial for culturing IDF. The major objective of this study was to investigate the effects of culturing media and auxin on the rooting and survival rate of IDF. Such information is needed for mass production of IDF using cutting propagation. The experimental results showed that the cuttings of IDF from the top to the third nodes and planted in fine sand had a higher root number than that of other cuttings and planting groups. The sterilized cuttings planted in fine sand had a higher root number than that of other tested media including the mixture of peat and perlite (1 : 1, v : v). Cuttings with two leaves and planted in fine sand had a higher root number than that of other tested groups. Cuttings of IDF soaked in 500 mg L^(-1) of indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) for an hour had a significantly higher (P≦0.05) root number than those soaked in other concentrations and times. As a result, the cuttings of IDF that were cut from the top to the third nodes, retained two leaves, sterilized and soaked in 500 mg L^(-1) IBA for an hour, and planted in fine sand will obtain the best conditions for cutting propagation of IDF.
