The geopolitical relations between China and Russia are unique. In the 17(superscript th) century, Russia commenced the journey of getting acquainted with China by dispatching her envoys to China. From 1715 to 1917, Russia assigned Russian Orthodox Missions in Beijing for 18 terms in total. Apart from that, a lot of Russian diplomats and overseas Russians lived in China in the Qing Dynasty. Some of Russian-Chinese Dictionaries and Chinese-Russian Dictionaries compiled by Russians were printed in China. These dictionaries are not only beneficial to Russians in their learning of Chinese, but also favorable to Chinese in their learning of Russian.
