The essential issue of Philosophy is the relationship between language and world. After the realization of ”Linguistics Turn” in the field of Philosophical research of the early 20(subscript th) century, the academic interfluves of ”Life-Standard” and ”Reason-Standard” in Chinese and western linguistic philosophies came into being by the influence of ideological and cultural traditions. This article makes a contrastive survey of the academic principle patterns demonstrated in ”Language-World” and ”Language-Mentality” relationships in Chinese and western traditions, and a speculative investigation on intellectual foundations and the complementarities of academic principles in Chinese and western linguistic philosophies and the different value orientations of Chinese and western Anthropocentrisms. At last, the author gets the conclusion: Chinese and western linguistic views have the character of ”unity of opposites” in academic principle.
