A FREQUENCY SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTIC EVALUATION MODEL OF MULTI-NODE SYSTEM CONSIDERING RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

摘要

The frequency spatial distribution characteristic (FSDC) refers to different frequency response capabilities in different nodes when disturbances occur in the power system. As the grid is getting broader and more renewable energy sources (RES) connected, the FSDC should be considered to maintain the frequency stability of the system. In this paper, a frequency domain FSDC analysis model of power system considering generator characteristics (including wind turbines), governor characteristics and system network structure is proposed. According to the established model in the article, the frequency response characteristics of each node in the system after applying power disturbance at different locations can be calculated. The model is simulated in the IEEE 10-machine 39-bus system, and the related evaluation indicators are set to verify that the correctness of the model. The results show that the model can well evaluate the influence of power disturbances on the system frequency.
