Compared to other styles of Chinese literature, the novels appeared late yet it has had a large amount of readers. More and more teachers are trying to create effective approaches by Internet and multi-media due to the ineffectiveness of the traditional Teaching Approach. This paper investigates the value of using computer technology to teach Chinese classic novels. A questionnaire is conducted to analyze the results and students’ responses after applying computer-assisted teaching approach in Chinese literature classes. Besides, the teaching material and teaching approach are also evaluated in the paper.
