This book review explicates the effort that Lee makes to unravel the myth of the ”model minority” stereotype and lead readers, especially Asian Americans, to think critically about the positive and negative sides of the stereotype. In addition, the review points out that Lee does not address Jewish and Japanese Americans in her case study.
