因文生事-《貫華堂第五才子書水滸傳》敘事類型意識及其法則

摘要


本文以金聖歎(1608-1661)為研究個案,研究主題為明清小說評點關於虛構與歷史敘事的重要主張。例如,金聖歎主張「稗史亦史」,又提出「因文生事」之說;他的「文」、「事」之分,顯然和毛宗崗「敘一定之事」、「據實以陳」的敘事標準不同。該研究面向屬於文學(小說)與歷史敘事異同之反省;研究方法以西方敘事理論為參考系,採納新敘事學的主張,屬於「虛構敘事」和「歷史敘事」邊界之探討。施行步驟先透過分析《貫華堂第五才子書水滸傳》對小說和歷史兩種類型之敘事準則,進而參照才子書相關批點及校釋,復與毛宗崗父子論述對話,從而考察金聖歎的小說類型意識及其敘事法則。

The paper is a Case Study which focuses on Jin Sheng-tan's Marginalia of the novel. (also named ”Guanhuatang diwu caizishu Shuihuzhuan”). The research takes Jin Sheng-tan's Marginalia of ”Outlaws of the March” and Mao Zong-gang's Marginalia of ”Romance of the three kingdoms” as examples to discuss their narrative grammar. At the same time, I will contrast their narrative theory, so as to analyze the boundary between Fictional narrative and Historical narrative. Applying research method of Narratologies, hoping to illustrate their narrative grammar. In the word, I comparison narrative theory between Chinese and Western.
