台灣地區港埠經營策略規劃

A Brief Study on the Strategy Planning of Ports Operation in Taiwan Area

摘要


從全球經濟觀點而言,北美、歐洲、亞太地區將是未來的三大區域性經濟體,而亞太地區更是最重要之經濟來源,尤其東北亞是世界經濟高速增長的地區,隨著大陸港口硬體設施日臻完善及經濟的活絡,原物料的需求與成品的輸出,洲際海運順勢而生,大陸沿海城市漸蛻化成為全球製造及銷售的重心,2003年已有七個港口擠入世界貨櫃排名三十大,相對的台灣港口優勢地位受到相當的撼動。因此檢討台灣地區國際商港之內外競爭環境,規劃港埠經營策略,開創適當利基,發揮核心競爭力,實為當急之務。

From the global economical view point, North America, Europe, Asian Pacific are three main regional economic body to the coming years. Asian Pacific region will be the most essential source to the world economy, where North East Asia having a rapid growth. As the hardware getting more and more flawless at the ports and with fast economic development in mainland China, and as the international shipping developing because of the export requirement of products and resources, the China's most waterfront cities are becoming global manufacturing and marketing centers. Seven of them are among the first thirty ports in the world. Comparatively, the ports in Taiwan are going to lose their leading position. Therefore, it is urgent to study the striving condition, to plan for ports operation strategy, to found the niche and develop the core competitiveness.
