摘要


近年來低成本航空浪潮席捲全球,外籍低成本航空也自民國93年12月起進入我國市場,面對外籍業者之威脅,我國亦於103年成立兩家國籍低成本航空公司與之抗衡,但就在我國低成本航空市場快速成長的榮景下,國籍低成本航空「威航航空公司」卻在營運不到兩年的時間宣布自105年10月起暫停營業,為我國低成本航空市場丟下了一個震撼彈,也讓許多人擔心我國籍航空公司未來是否會全面退出低成本航空市場之營運。本文旨在探討我國低成本航空發展問題,並進一步分析未來發展之機會與挑戰。

In recent years, Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) swept across the world and foreign LCCs have operated flights to Taiwan since December 2004. Facing foreign LCCs fierce competition, two Taiwanese LCCs had been set up to compete with them in 2014. Under the circumstances of fast-growing LCCs' market in Taiwan, one of our LCCs, V Air, declared to suspend operation from October 2016 after operating their first flight less than two years, and dropped a bombshell for Taiwan's LCCs' market. Many travelers fear that our carriers will completely withdraw from the LCCs' market in the near future. This article aims to discuss the development of LCCs, and further analyze their future opportunities and challenges.
