It is difficult to manage suicidal attempt of cancer patients. To most clinical staff, they have not enough knowledge about suicidology in cancer patients. In the article, we try to introduce the phenomenon of suicide among cancer patients, hospice movement, physician assisted suicide, professional impact after patients' suicide, and the principle of management for suicidal attempt of cancer patients. Understanding suicidology in cancer patients is important for cancer care.
