軍中環境適應障礙之男同性戀雙親教養態度之相關探討

摘要

在台灣軍中男同性戀者適應問題未曾被探討過，本研究旨在探討雙親教養態度在軍中男同性戀適應障礙上所扮演之角色。採個案對照研究法，研究對象來自南部某教學醫院精神科男性現役軍人。同性戀組為22位，符合環境適應障礙診斷之住院同性戀者；環境適應障礙組為34位，符合環境適應障礙診斷之住院非同性戀者；正常組為由26位，無精神科相關診斷者。參與研究之個案均完成人口學資料及中文版的雙親教養態度量表(Parental Bonding Instrument, PBI)。結果顯示在父親保護因素上得分，同性戀組顯著高於環境適應障礙組(t=.67, p=.030)及正常組，p=.006；在母親保護得分上，同性戀組顯著高於正常組，p=.000；在母親關懷因素上，同性戀組顯著低於正常組，p=.000。父母親之教養態度，尤其是父親的高保護對環境適應障礙之同性戀者有顯著影響。本研究顯示男同性戀者，特別是與父親的聯結關係過度保護和控制，即可能是與父親的聯結關係出現障礙。研究結果，可提供臨床工作人員在照護男同性戀者時之參考。

Adjustment problems among homosexuals in the military has never been explored in Taiwan. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of parental bonding in such adjustment problems. The homosexual control study was used in the present study. The participants includeds, as the homo-sexual group, 22 male, homosexual military personnel, who met the diagnosis of adjustment disorder and were hospitalized in a teaching hospital in southern Taiwan. Thirty-four non-homosexual military personnel diagnosed with adjustment disorders served as the maladjustment group, and 26 military personnel without any psychiatric diagnosis were recruited as the normally adjusted group. All participants completed demographic information and the Parental Bonding Instrument questionnaire, which concerned perceptions of parental bonding before the age of 16. The results showed scores for paternal protectiveness to be significantly higher in the homosexual group than in the maladjustment group (t=.67, p=.030), and normally adjusted group, p=.006. The score for maternal protectiveness in the homosexual group was significantly higher than in the normal group, p=.000. The score for maternal care in homosexual group was significantly lower than in the normal group, p=.000. Parental bonding especially parental over protection had significantly influenced the homosexual group. These findings may serve as a reference in clinical management.
