建置我國職業羽球賽事規劃之初探

Exploration of Conducting Professional Badminton Games in Taiwan

摘要

本研究旨在探討建置我國職業羽球賽事規劃，研究方法採質性研究設計，透過半結構訪談方式進行資料蒐集。邀請擁有20位國內羽球運動相關人員及學者專家為訪談對象，就運動員資格、國內現況及賽事規劃等三個構面進行探討。研究結果發現透過國內賽事整合、栽培青少年選手及培養觀眾等方式可促進我國職業羽球賽事之推動，未來我國舉辦職業羽球賽事，運動員資格可參考高爾夫球、網球等職業運動，訂定參賽標準、外卡制度與遞補機制等制度；賽事規劃宜採俱樂部聯賽模式舉辦職業羽球賽事，並以具有可看性、刺激性與樂趣性之團體賽為主軸，透過給予選手出場費及結合在地文化觀光等策略，吸引各國好手前來參賽。

This study aims at investigating exploration of conducting the professional badminton games in Taiwan. Qualitative research method is used in this study, collecting information by the semi-structured interview. Twenty participants, including athletes and scholars involved with badminton were interviewed. They were asked to express their opinions toward three perspectives: The qualification of athletes, current situation in Taiwan and the planning of competition. The results show that through the integration of competitions in Taiwan, the training of teenage athletes and the accumulation of audience can facilitate the badminton games in Taiwan. In the future, we can consult the standard from golf and tennis, setting the criterions, wild card system and alternative system; also, the planning of competitions can be held like the club league, taking the viewability, excitement and fun as the main point. Lastly, to attract good athletes all over the world, paying them fee and synthesizing the location based on the tourism may be a nice method.
