本研究之目的,在於評量護專學生具備數學態度的情形,進而探討其對數學成就所產生的影響?及是否因性別而異?以提供數學課程安排及教學設計之參考。研究樣本為268名護專一年級學生,取樣來自南部地區之敏惠護專、樹人醫專兩所學校。本研究於民國九十四年九月間先完成學生數學態度的評量並作為預測變項。數學態度分為:對數學的「鑑賞」、「動機」、「重要性」和「無恐懼性」等四個因素。且於同年11月間,以自編「數學成就測驗」評量學生數學學習成就並作為效標變項。爾後,將全部所得資料以差異性檢驗、變異數分析及相關分析進行分析比較。其主要結果發現:1.護專學生具備數學態度的情形,男女學生皆以對數學的「重要性」態度反應最強,而以對數學的「無恐懼性」最弱。其中,男女生之間並無顯著性差異。2.護專男女學生四項數學態度與數學成就的相關,其相關性均達.01顯著水準。就男生而言,相關係數自.39至.60;女生則為.41至.55。3.護專男女學生四項數學態度與數學成就的相關並無顯著性之性別差異。
The purpose of this study is to assess what mathematics attitude the nurse college students owe and the influence on mathematics achievement by their attitudes. It also analyzes the difference of sex for above. The study sample are the first grade 268 students sampling from Min-Hwei and Swu-Jeng two nurse colleges. Mathematics attitude of the study consists of four factors: enjoyment, motivation, importance and free from fear. The data have been analyzed with reference to the test of difference, the analysis of variance and the product-moment correlation. It is found that 1. Male and female students all express that ”the importance of mathematics” is for the best and the ”free from fear” is the bad. The difference of sex for above is no significance. 2. The correlations of male & female student's mathematics attitude and mathematics achievement are all .01 level of significance. The coefficient of male students is between.39 and .60. The coefficient of female students is between.41 and .55. 3. The sex difference of correlation for student's mathematics attitude and mathematics achievement is no significance.
