迢迢移民路－談《風中玫瑰》和《小移民的天空》中移民者的共相與異相

摘要

《風中玫瑰》和《小移民的天空》是二位墨西哥裔作家的半自傳故事，作者依自己所知道的家族史或自傳，虛構了一個小女孩艾斯佩瑞拉及一個小男孩法蘭西斯哥的成長過程，雖然故事中具有類似背景的兩個小孩，故事結局卻呈現了完全不同的命運，我們試圖探討小移民呈現出的共相與異相。研究發現移民者呈現出的共相在於擁有共同的形象，分別是艱困的生活、次級的勞動者、對人的關懷三個面向，而使得兩個小孩走出不同的境遇的異象成因在於二人在自我的認同感、家與土地的紮根及情感依歸三個因素上產生不同結果。美國夢，看似很美，但卻不一定真實。在移民路上的小孩沒有童年，只有跟著大人工作的小孩，儘管生活艱苦，他們仍將小小的夢想寄託在下一代的未來，這樣微小卻遙遠的夢，支撐著這群移民者願意拼上命走上一段迢迢移民路。

Recently with the rise of multiculturalism, voices of different ethnic groups gradually have been taken seriously. With the frequency of immigration many writers write their biographies about their family or their own history. There are two children with similar backgrounds but have completely different fate in the end of the stories. We tried to find out the similarity and difference between two small immigrants. The similarities for immigrants are difficult living, secondary laborers and their concern for people. The two children they have different life circumstances under the differences which show in their self-identity, belonging of their home, and their emotions attaching. American dreams seem very beautiful but not for true. There's no childhood for those immigrant children only working. Despite they have hard living; they still have the faith for their next generations. These immigrants are willing to fight for their future with their small and remote dreams for immigrating.
