生命態度量表之發展

Development of the Life Attitude Inventory

摘要


本研究旨在發展一「生命態度量表」,以檢視大學生的生命態度。由沙特、弗朗克、羅洛•梅、羅傑斯對生命態度的看法,發展成生命態度概念國作為量表的理論基礎,解析出生命態度的六個層面:理想、自主、愛與關懷、存在感、死亡態度、生命經驗。預試量表含101題,以114位大學生進行預試,經項目分析刪題後,保留70題組成正式量表。以1,109位大學生進行正式施測。正式施測結果顯示,「生命態度量表」的信度係數α為.93,重測信度為.91。該量表和「生活目的測驗量表」、「生命指數量表」、「生命態度剖面團量表」的同時效度為.72、.57及.49。集群分析及六個向度的因素分析所得的結構,皆與本量表依據的理論架構相符,因此驗證本量表之構念效度。

The purpose of this research is to develop an inventory for meaduring youths' attitude towards life, also called the Life Attitude Inventory (LAI). 8ased on the concepts of life from lean-Paul Sartre, Viktor Frankl, Rollo May and Carl Roger, researchers conceived the theoretical framework of the Life Attitude Inventory, which consists of six different dimensions: ideals of life; autonomy and responsibility; love and care; feeling of existence; attitude towards death; and attitude towards life experience. Afterwards, researchers collected 516 items, according to the six dimensions, and then screened out 101 items for pre-testing. 114 university students took the pretest, and based on the results of item analysis and item meanings analysis, 70 items were retained to construct the formal inventory. Following that, a sample of 1,109 university students took the formal scale. According to the results of the formal test, we found the Cronbach's Coefficient α of LAI was 0.93, and the test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.91. The concurrent validity of LAI with Purpose in Life was 0.72, with the Life Regard Index was 0.57; and with the Life Attitude Profile was 0.49. The result of six dimensions' factor analyses and Hierarchical Clustering analysis all confirmed the structure of LAI and proved its construct validity.
