The purpose of this paper is to explore trends of curriculum studies of preschool education in Taiwan, with 21 projects funded by the National Science Council, 268 published dissertations of master and doctoral, and 94 journal articles from 1990 to 2011. Five dimensions were examined: quantities of study; research topics; sub-topics; curriculum content; and research methods. This study uses the content analysis conducted percentage of Microsoft Excel 2003 statistical data, followed by comparison, analysis and discussion of the data. Lastly, a few suggestions for curriculum studies of preschool education in Taiwan are provided.
