An effective performance evaluation is the core issue in the current service-oriented government. This paper first describes the performance evaluation of the significance of a service-oriented government. According to China's actual performance evaluation of a service-oriented government, a performance evaluation system of a service-oriented government is raised. On the basis of the introduction of multi - attribute decision-making based on expectations of fuzzy performance evaluation method for a service-oriented government. Finally a case study of the evidence shows that the method is feasible and effective.
