This paper describes the impact route on employment of foreign trade based on Pissarides matching model including foreign trade by building the labor employment screening mechanism frame work. On this basis, we use panel data of 31 provinces in China from 1997-2009 to investigate the relationship between the level of urban employment and the lagged adjustment of the current period. We conclude that: first, there is no significant effect between the trade surplus and the current and lagged adjustment of employment; second, period on the employment impact of exports is not significant, but exports lagged effect on employment is significant positive; imports on the current period of employment and delay were significantly affected by changes in the negative. It shows that China's foreign trade to offset the employment effect is still obvious, and there is delay friction.
