分析線上遊戲的相關研究與調查報告可以發現,隨著網路科技的發展,頻寬的加大,線上遊戲的內容與方式日趨多元與豐富化。根據資策會於2008年的調查發現,截至2008年9月底為止,我國經常上網人口達1,025萬人,網際網路連網應用普及率為45%,而台灣網友最常進行的網路娛樂活動中線上遊戲就高達61.6%,其中以18歲以上的學生族群佔最大部份(資策會,2008)。然目前較少相關文獻探討個人特質影響線上遊戲的行為,故本研究針對目前台灣南部某科技大學學生共計128人,從個人特質中的人格特質與參與動機的觀點來探討其對線上遊戲行為的影響情形。研究結果顯示:個人特質中的參與動機與部分人格特質對於線上遊戲的沉迷傾向具有顯著的解釋力;而人格特質、參與動機、使用行為與沉迷傾向也有顯著的相關性存在。根據以上的分析,本研究進一步對學生、家長及學校提出建議;並針對後續研究提出建議與方向。
With network development and bandwidth enhancement, the contents and ways of online games are getting pluralistic and abundant. The results of relevant research and survey on online games showed that the popularity of Internet-surfing was increasing. According to the MIC investigation report (2008), the population of the on-line users in up to 10.25 million, the served rates of internet is also up to 45%, online game is the most popular entertainment on internet and the students(above 18 years old) are also the largest part of online players. However, there are a few researches to explore the relationship of personal characters and behaviors. This study asked students about their attitude toward the behavior of online games with their idiosyncratic view. The results indicated that there are significant correlations between personalities, internet use motivation and addiction. Self-assuredness, anonymous behavior, avoiding fit-in, and information obtaining can predict mainly (about 43.1%) degree of addition. According to the above analysis, this study gives some advice to students, parents and school as well as proposes some suggestions and directions for the follow-up research.
