自行車休閒活動之體驗價值分析

摘要


國內自行車休閒活動人口正快速成長,並已逐漸成為台灣民眾休閒運動新趨勢。此一休閒活動使參與者趨之若鶩的吸引力,乃是值得探討的問題。然而目前的研究卻未深入探討騎乘者參與活動的心理歷程,包括:吸引參與者的活動特性為何?騎乘自行車的利益如何產生?自行車休閒活動對於騎乘者的真正意義又是什麼?爰此,本研究採用方法目的鏈模型(Means-End chain model, MEC),由騎乘者觀點,探討參與自行車休閒活動後所獲得的利益與體驗,以及蘊含的深層價值。將活動屬性、所獲得的結果以及價值三個階層逐一連結,呈現出騎乘者的內在認知結構,以獲得其自行車休閒活動參與的價值意涵。 本研究根據60位受訪者的訪談資料,透過內容分析法(Content analysis),篩選出自行車休閒活動的屬性、結果及價值的關鍵要素,並建立類目表;再以截取值算出涵意矩陣(Implication matrix)並建立價值階層圖(Hierarchical value map; HVM)。研究結果獲得13項屬性(以勞動筋骨、可接近大自然提及的次數最多,其次依序為人際互動及不耗油)、14項結果(以強健體魄最多,其次依序為放鬆紓壓、保護環境及豐富生活)及9項價值(以愉悅次數最多,健康及生活品質高次之)。價值階層分析的結果產生6項價值認知與體驗路徑:「強健體魄」、「放鬆紓壓」、「豐富生活」、「保護環境」、達成「自我設定目標」及「拓展人際」路徑。此外,女性比男性重視自行車休閒活動可以培養家人感情的特質;而女性也較男性希望藉由自行車休閒活動來放鬆紓壓及為環保盡一份心力,以期過更有品質的生活。而自行車是流行的這項屬性則更吸引男性,且男性更較女性想要藉由參與自行車休閒活動來減肥以及獲得自信心的價值。研究結果除可豐富相關文獻外,並可提供自行車業者與政府單位規劃及提倡自行車休閒活動之參考。

Over the past few years, recreational cycling has grown in popularity. This study extended means-end approach to examine the factors associated with the experiences of recreational cyclists. The main purpose was to explore the role and meaning of the benefits associated with this type of recreational activity. By using the “laddering” technique, a total of 60 subjects participated in one-on-one in-depth personal interviews and then the interviewing data were analyzed. With the method of Content Analysis, the content codes of attributes, consequences and values were derived. The inter-coder agreement and Jury Approach were applied to examine the reliability of Content Analysis in this study. A HVM (Hierarchical value map) was drawn to how the relationships among concepts. The outcomes generally referred to positive consequences or benefits. It also highlighted several key personal values including pleasure, possessing health, high life quality, a sense of freedom, and achievement that appeared to serve as the higher level “ends” that cyclists took away from their recreational cycling activity. The research findings hold important implications for researchers and practitioners interested in studying recreational cycling. Moreover, strategic marketing implications were recommended at the end to conclude this study.
