本研究主要目的在瞭解大學生的不同背景變項在休閒涉入與休閒效益之差異及預測情形與不同休閒涉入程度對休閒效益之差異情形和其典型相關情形。以嘉義地區某大學學生為研究對象,有效問卷608份。研究結果發現如下:(一)大學生居住地與父母的婚姻狀況、健康狀況、教育程度、管教方式和父親職業等變項,未達顯著差異;大學生的性別與休閒涉入和休閒效益、大學生的年級與休閒涉入和休閒效益、母親職業與大學生的休閒涉入程度和休閒效益,則達到顯著差異。(二)大學生的不同程度休閒涉入在休閒效益上,亦達顯著差異。(三)大學生的性別、年級和母親職業,能有效預測休閒涉入,以性別最具預測力(β = -.19);大學生的性別與母親職業,能有效預測休閒效益,以性別最具預測力(β = -.13)。(四)在典型因素中,休閒涉入會影響休閒效益,有密切正向關係存在。本研究建議應該針對大學生多多的宣導休閒活動所能帶來的各種益處,大學生如能多從事休閒活動的參與,同時提昇涉入的程度,才是達到休閒活動的真正目的。
The purpose of this study was to explore the relations among leisure involvement, leisure benefits and the background variables. The differences, predictions and the results of canonical analysis were adopted in this study, to inspect and discover the relations among variables. Subjects of this study were 608 valid samples collected randomly from university students in Chiayi areas. The results were as followed: 1. Students' gender and their leisure involvement and benefits, students' year and their leisure involvement and benefits, and mother's occupation and the students' leisure involvement and benefits achieved significant difference. University students' place of residence, parents' marital status, health conditions, education, family discipline, and the father's occupation did not achieve significant differences. 2. Students' leisure involvement was significantly different in leisure benefit. 3. Students' gender, year, and mother's occupation could efficiently predict leisure involvement, with gender having the most predictive power (β = -.19); students' gender and mother's occupation could efficiently predict leisure benefits, with gender having the most predictive power (β = -.13). 4. For canonical correlation factors, leisure involvement would affect the benefits and there was a close, positive relation between the two. From the result, this study further suggested that participation of leisure activities of university students should be promoted.
