This study aims to examine a model of relationship among the leisure participation motivation, leisure benefit, academic stress and learning achievement for junior high school students. The study sent out 450 questionnaires, and 392 of them were valid, recycling ratio was 87.1%. The results were summarized as below: The results show a striking effect of leisure participation motivation. The higher leisure participation motivation the junior high students have, the higher learning achievement and leisure benefit they get. Also, the higher leisure participation motivation they have, the less academic stress they feel. As the junior high school students get higher leisure benefit, their learning achievements get better, but the students' leisure benefits don't have a significant impact on their academic stress. Besides, higher academic stresses leads to less learning achievements. Students' leisure participation motivations impact on their academic stresses, and their academic stresses impact on their learning achievements. In other words, students' leisure participation motivations effect their learning achievements indirectly, and students' academic stress is the mediation effect.
