摘要

齒瘤是一種良性病變表現的齒源性腫瘤。診斷出齒瘤的時間通常是在二十歲之前。齒瘤一般來說是沒有症狀的，但是常見和牙齒的阻生有關。經常是在例行性牙科放射線檢查時發現。此篇病例報告主要在描述一個10歲8個月的男孩因牙齒未萌發而求診，發現有組合性牙瘤（compound odontoma）的案例。組合性牙瘤是一團由釉質、牙本質和牙髓組織所組成的一些大小不一，與牙齒相似的錐型或是彎曲的的小牙。此病灶經由手術摘除，經由矯正術式的介入將被阻生的牙齒拉至正常的咬合位置。經一年的追蹤，結果穩定良好。恆牙之延期萌發應建議照X光片來尋找原因，適當早期的診斷可以讓治療簡單化及有一個比較好的癒後。

Odontomas are odontogenic tumors that present as benign lesions. They are always diagnosed in the second decade of life. Odontomas are generally asymptomatic, but often associated with impaction of the permanent tooth. They are usually detected by a routine radiographic examination. This case report describes a case of an impacted maxillary lateral incisor associated with compound odontoma in a 10 years 8 months old boy and the treatment procedures. In order to re-position the impacted tooth to normal alignment, orthodontic treatment was followed after the odontoma was surgically removed. After one year, the patient showed a stable occlusion and good prognosis.
