老人孤寂感、生活適應與生活滿意關係之探討

摘要

社會環境與家庭結構的改變，台灣已是世界人口老化最快速國家之一，因此，長照機構的設置相當普遍，並發展出長照機構多元化的服務內容，提供人們做為選擇。長期照護機構的設置目的是為居住於長照機構中的老人們增進健康和維持身體功能，協助住民可以獨立自主的正常生活能力，並建立適當的社會關係。研究者認為機構應致力於提供完善的服務內容，幫助機構住民生活適應的提升，以增加機構住民的生活滿意度。此外，我們也加入孤寂感此重要變項，探討寂寞對於老人生活滿意度之影響。本研究以結構式問卷作為研究工具，包含基本資料、生活適應量表（自編）、中文版寂寞量表和生活滿意度量表（自編）。研究結果顯示（N=138），機構住民的孤寂感程度越高時，則生活滿意度越低，生活適應程度愈高者，高齡者的滿意度也愈高。本研究結果可當作有興趣研究老人領域學者及實務機構管理者之參考，大家共同努力並有效提升機構住民的生活滿意度。

Population ageing is taking place globally, with Taiwan one of the fastest growing countries. Owing to the changes of social conditions and family structure, long-term care system that includes a variety of services for the elders has become common in the society. The goals of these institutions are to assist their residents to maintain physical functions and to improve health conditions. The institutions are as well to serve as places for adaptation to fulfill the elders needs to life. To examine the association between loneliness and life satisfaction of the elders in the long-term care system, one hundred and thirty-eight residents were interviewed. The statistical analysis with multiple regression showed that both adjustment ability and loneliness were related to life satisfaction. We suggest that researchers and the senior-resident institutions to take more effort in helping elders to manage issues of adjustment and loneliness.
