摘要

古代奧運會的起源，成就了現代體育運動發展基礎，而競技體育的發展更是帶動現代體育運動發展的主要因素，隨著國際運動賽會的興起，各國爭辦國際大型運動餐會之激烈，可見體育運動發展的價值及其潛能，運動賽會的商業化爲舉辦大型運動賽會的國家帶來無數的商機，增強了社會經濟效益，本文從古代的奧運起源對運動賽會商業化機制價值做探討，得到以下結果。
一　古代奧運會的起源與發展，帶動了運動賽會的誕生。
二　體育運動歷經歷史的演變，運動賽會已具多樣化，並強調經營與管理。
三　運動賽會已經是一種巨大的產業，爲國家社會提供大量的就業機會。
四　體育運動與觀光旅遊的結合是運動賽會發展的潮流。
五　運動賽會發展提昇國力與國際知名度。

The modem physical education is promoted by a very long history of the ancient Olympic Games, and the development of competitive sport is the foundation of the modem sport. Due to international sport events grow rapidly; many countries are eager for host massive international sport events. It does obviously prove that how valuable of physical education and sport development. The sport events could bring innumerable commercial value for host country, and reinforce the benefit of economic. This study discusses the commercial added value form ancient Olympic Games. The results are following:
(1) Most sport events started from ancient Olympic Games.
(2) Through several major evolutions, sport event is now more variety and focus on marketing and management.
(3) Sport is a major industry and provides a plenty of job opportunities.
(4) The combination of sports and tourism is a main stream of sport development.
(5) The development of sport events could raise a national's wealth and make this country well-known.
