Socialization Process of Adolescents' Sport Attitudes and Behavior

摘要


研究目的為了解青少年的運動態度和行為及其社會化過程。採用量化與質性混合研究方法,包括問卷調查和訪談。受訪者來自兩所高中及附屬國中的學生、教師和家長。問卷調查青少年的運動態度、行為與健康體適能知識。訪談主要詢問有關重要他人(父母,老師,同學,學校,社區和媒體)如何影響青少年運動態度和行為社會化。問卷資料和訪談內容分析結果顯示,受訪者健康體適能知識差強人意、對運動態度中庸、運動參與行為主要透過體育課。運動知識取得以媒體和同儕為主要來源,老師和家長在青少年的運動態度和行為社會化過程中未扮演積極的角色,對於「課業表現」與「運動發展」有二者擇其一的意識形態。運動類型和場域的不多元,隱含被動性的運動社會價值。

The research attempted to understand adolescents' sport attitudes and behavior, and the sport socialization process through significant others. Mixed methods were utilized including questionnaires and interviews. Participants were recruited from two middle and senior high schools. The survey of questionnaires asked teenagers questions about their sport attitudes, behavior and health fitness knowledge. Interviews mainly asked about how the significant others (parents, teachers, classmates and peers, schools, communities and the media) influenced the socialization of the youth's sport attitudes and behavior. The results showed that respondents lacked of knowledge about physical fitness, their sport attitudes were moderate, and their sport participation was primarily in courses of physical education. Media and peers were the two major sources for adolescents to obtain sport knowledge; teachers and parents did not play proactive roles in the youth's sport socialization. It seemed that respondents tended to emphasize either ”academic performance” or ”sports development” but not both. Absence of sports diversity implied passive social values of sports.
