UBA大專籃球選手生涯阻礙與因應策略之研究

A Preliminary Study on the Carrier Barrier and Response Strategy of UBA Basketball Players

摘要

在許多研究中證實，個人生涯發展過程中，難免會遭遇困境或挫折，這些阻礙因素如果無法順利的找出並解決，便會使個體的生涯歷程難以順利的發展，因此如何去因應這些阻礙更顯得特別重要。本研究目的為探討UBA 大專籃球選手在大學生涯所面臨之生涯阻礙，以及其因應策略之分析。本研究方法採半結構式訪談法，以生涯阻礙理論為基礎，針對國內二位UBA 大專籃球選手進行訪談，並針對各因素層面之因應策略加以探討。研究結果顯示UBA 大專籃球選手在「個人因素」中，主要以個人之能力、經驗、體力為主要因素，面對來自「環境因素」之阻礙，包括就業市場、職業聲望及離家遠近；面對來自「心理因素」之阻礙，包括有個人價值觀、角色衝突；針對「社會因素」的阻礙，選手普遍以「家人支持度」及「同儕間鼓勵」為主要因素。本研究之結論如下：UBA大專籃球選手生涯阻礙因素以個人及環境因素所占較多，在面對生涯阻礙時，以問題取向因應策略採取最多。最後，根據結論提出研究建議，以供從事運動相關人員及未來研究之參考。

Many empirical studies have proven that difficulties or setbacks are encountered inevitably during the process of personal career development. If these obstructive factors are not successfully realized and resolved, the career course of the individual would fail to develop successfully. Therefore, how to respond to these barriers has become ever more important. The objectives of this research is to discuss the career barriers met by basketball players of the University Basketball Association (UBA) during college and analyze their response strategy. This paper adopts semi-structured interviews as the research method and is based on the career barriers theory, interviewing two domestic UBA basketball players and discusses their response strategy from aspects of various factors. Research results show that in terms of ＂personal factors,＂ the main factors are the ability, experience, and physical strength of the individual. ＂Environmental factors＂ include career market, career reputation, and the distance between work and home; ＂Psychological factors＂ include personal value and the conflict between roles. As for ＂social factors,＂ players generally view ＂family support＂ and ＂peer encouragement＂ as the main factor. The career barrier factors of UBA basketball players consists mainly of personal and environmental factors and less psychological and social factors. In terms of personal, environmental, psychological, and social aspects of career barrier factors, UBA basketball players mostly adopt a problem-oriented response strategy, followed by cognitive-oriented response, and emotional-oriented response as the least adopted. Lastly, according to the conclusion, research advices are provided to personnel engaged in sport-related activities as reference for future research.
