Facing the oncoming of the knowledge-based economy, ”brainpower” is the key element in determining the outcome. Early childhood education is the foundation of all education, and so the objective of this paper looks at how educators can guide children to think critically and value the nurturing of higher-level thinking in children in order to respond to the changes in the external environment, and to integrate the implications of critical thinking into the teaching methods.This paper aims to explore the integration of ”critical thinking” into the teach in g methods of educators of early childhood, Through analyzing the documents, the definition and meaning of critical thinking is expounded, from which the meaning is analyzed in four levels: teaching knowledge, ability, attitude, and how to increase the effectiveness of children's learning. And through integrating the essence from these four levels into the teaching methods when the educators carry out thematic teaching, the importance and value of critical thinking in the nurturing of higher-level thinking in children is discovered. The above findings are different from what is recorded in the past research.
