This paper fist analyzed the terms of assistive technology used in special education related laws and regulations. Then the authors explained the definition and content of assistive technology. Finally, terms used inconsistently and no specific regulations for assistive technology service in the current laws and regulations were discussed. Suggestions for amending the laws and regulations in the future also were provided.
