A tabletop game is an emerging instructional media, one that can be played on a table or other surfaces. In recent years, tabletop games into the special education curriculum design were all the rage. This thesis aims to discuss and analyse how the tabletop games may be integrated into the language teaching of special education. First, the meaning and classification of tabletop games are introduced. Then, this thesis further explains the characteristics of integrating tabletop games into the teaching and the precautions of using then. Finally, be sharing the use of table top games in the language teaching, the author hopes that this thesis may serve as a useful resource and reference to the colleagues dedicated to special education.
