開發應用發光二極體之可攜式細胞照射裝置

Developing Portable Cell Illuminating Experiment Apparatus by Lighting Emitting Diode

摘要


近年來對於使用固態光源(如發光二極體)進行細胞照射以及作為細胞培養的技術獲得許多的注目。為了完成這樣的實驗,本文介紹團隊所開發的可攜式細胞培養照射裝置。本系統的主要結構為一個具有透明上蓋的培養室,配合設置在該培養室內且能夠載置細胞的培養皿,並整合固態光源模組。在本系統的培養室內,安裝有電熱模組與光學模組。電熱模組可以維持細胞活動的溫度,而光學模組結合固態光源模組具有光源影像投射的能力。本裝置能夠維持穩定的溫度需求,同時具有可攜帶的細胞培養環境,可以透過光學模組對於培養的細胞進行持續特定波長的照射。本文也示範了本系統安裝於生物顯微鏡下,作為各種細胞實驗(如光遺傳實驗、光學導引成長實驗)外掛元件的可行性。而最重要的在於提出逆向使用發光二極體作為實驗假體,可以減少實驗細胞的損耗達成系統功能測試的目標。

Recently, several researches paid much attention on the using of the solid state light source (such as Light Emitting Diode-LED) for the cell illuminating experiments. In order to complete such experiment, in this report we develop a portable cell illuminating device, which consist with the cell incubator system, associate incubating disk and solid state light source module. The system includes the optical unit and the thermal control unit. The thermal units can keep the cell activities, and the optical units can project the required wavelength to the incubation disk. This device can also produce a specific wavelength illuminating to the cell in the culturing disk, such that the device can be treated as the auxiliary components of microscopy for optogenetics or optical neural guide experiment. Most important of all we show the using of the LED as the illuminated phantom object, such that during the calibrating and testing procedures for this device , we can keep the system more cost effective, without using the expensive cell.
